The structures located in the middle face area are the lower eyelids, cheeks and cheekbones. With age, the fullness of the cheek decreases, the cheeks slide down, the mid-face area becomes flattened and flattened. The face loses its oval appearance and becomes rectangular. The bags on the lower eyelid become pronounced, the lower eyelid appears to be elongated. A deep line is formed between the cheek and the eyelid. This line is called a tear groove. This image makes people look tired and old. In addition, sagging cheeks cause the formation of two deep lines between the nose and the edges of the lips.<\/p>

These lines are called nose-lip grooves (nasolabial grooves). In the mid-face region, the aim is to replace the lost soft tissue, to move the structures that are sagging downwards upwards and to correct the deteriorated lower eyelid-cheek relationship. Rejuvenation procedures that can be performed in this area include lower eyelid surgery (lower blepharoplasty), endoscopic mid-face lift, mid-face lift procedures performed through the lower lid, mid-face hangers, fat injections and fillings.<\/p>

As they get older, the middle face area becomes flattened, the cheeks sag downwards, tear groove deformity has developed, and the lip-nose grooves have deepened are candidates for such surgeries. Since such problems are more pronounced in middle age, such procedures can be performed in people between the ages of 35-50 who do not require a face lift but whose problems are limited to the mid-face area.<\/p>

In the mid-face area, mid-face hangers and filling procedures are often applied together.<\/p>

It is applied to the mid-face area in order to eliminate the loss of soft tissue that occurs over time on the cheek. With fat injections, the tear-tear groove deformity is corrected, the cheeks and cheekbones are clarified, the face is given an oval shape again, the nose-lip grooves are filled. In addition to giving fullness, fat injections also increase collagen synthesis by transforming the stem cells it contains into fibroblasts, brightening and rejuvenating the skin.<\/p>

Reduces fine wrinkles, reduces under-eye bruises. In young patients, fat injections alone may be sufficient without mid-face slings. Fat injections are also a good option in young patients with a developmental middle face. The aim of the lower eyelid surgery (lower blepharoplasty) procedure is to remove the bags formed under the eyes, to carry these fats to the tear groove, and to correct the relationship between the cheek and the lower lid. Mid-face straps and fat injections are often performed.<\/p>

Midface lift procedures are performed either through the incision in the lower lid during the lower eyelid surgery, or endoscopically with the help of a short incision made through the scalp. When it is made from the eyelid, it can be done under or over the bone membrane (periosteum).<\/p>

Endoscopic midface lift is performed with the help of a camera inserted through a short incision made on the scalp. During this surgery, endoscopic forehead lift is usually performed. If necessary, an additional incision is made through the mouth. It is a highly effective method, but swelling that lasts too long can make patients uneasy in the first months.<\/p>

Rope suspension: It is a suspension system developed to suspend the middle face area without surgery. The mid-face area is moved up with the help of special threads sent to the face through a 1 cm incision made through the scalp. It is more suitable for thin-skinned and middle-aged patients.<\/p>

It pulls the cheek up, reduces the lip-nose grooves, reduces the accumulation on the chin edge. It can be performed under local anesthesia and under office conditions. If fat injections are also performed, its effectiveness increases. The effect lasts for several years. When the effect passes, the process can be renewed by pulling the ropes up again. It does not cause swelling and bruising. The patient can return to his daily life the next day.<\/p>

Fat injections, lower eyelid surgeries, endoscopic mid-face lift procedures are performed in the operating room environment, under general anesthesia or heavy tranquilizers (sedation). Rope hangers can be performed with local anesthesia in the office environment.<\/p>

Rope suspension procedures are often carried out in office conditions and patients can go home immediately. After fat injections, lower lid surgeries and mid-face lift procedures, there are long-lasting bruises and swellings. Especially after endoscopic mid-face lifts, it may take up to three months for the swelling to completely subside. As after all facial surgeries, after ota facial rejuvenation procedures, the patient needs to protect himself from the direct sun for 3 months.<\/p>

Endoscopic mid-face lift surgery is an effective procedure, the results are long-lasting. As the patient’s age progresses, there is some sagging of the face, but it does not become obsolete. It is the long-lasting swelling that bothers the patients the most. Although rare, problems such as asymmetries, lip paralysis, unnatural appearance in the shape of the face or insufficient effect may be experienced.<\/p>

Paralysis usually resolves within 2-3 weeks. After the lower lid surgery, problems such as late healing, conjunctival edema in the eye, pulling down on the lower lid may occur. Such problems can be corrected over time or with additional surgical interventions. After fat injections, swelling and bruises occur. The results of injections around the eyes and over the cheekbones are permanent. There may be some loss in what is done to the nose-lip lines.<\/p>

The effect of rope hangers lasts for several years. When it loses its effect, the same threads can be stretched a little more and the process can be refreshed.\u00a0 Fat injections give permanent results around the eyes and in the middle face. Nose-lip lines often need to be repeated.
