Today, one of the most frequently used methods in the field of aesthetics is the applications made with hyaluronic acid based fillers. Filler injections have many uses from removing fine lines and wrinkles on the face to lip plumping, from clarifying the cheekbones to creating a lifting and stretching effect on the face.
Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are cosmetic applications used to fill in fine lines, deep wrinkles and reshape the face that occur with sun damage and age. Although the permanence varies according to the density of the product used, the result is immediately seen with hyaluronic acid-based fillings that are 6-12 months.
Before the procedure, the area to be applied is anesthetized by applying anesthetic cream. The procedure takes 10-15 minutes. There is no healing process. The effect begins immediately and can be returned to social life. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are the most commonly used fillers. The most important feature of this substance is that it is naturally present in the body, so it does not cause an allergic reaction in the person to whom the application is made. If the result is not satisfied, it can be dissolved instantly with a substance called hyaluronidase.
Filling application areas include nasolabial lines (lines extending from the edges of the nose to the edges of the lips), lines descending from the edge of the lip to the chin, fine lines on the lip, deep pimples and scars, lip plumping and shaping, under-eye collapse, indefinite and small jaw and jaw line, cheekbone and cheek clarification, regaining the volume and fullness of the face that disappears with age. With advancing age, the lips begin to thin out, lose their shape and fullness. Structurally, the lips may be thin in some people as well. Fillings can be used to plump the lips, clarify the lip contour, correct the asymmetry in the lips.
The lines and grooves starting from both sides of the nose and descending to the edges of the lips and then to the chin occur due to the displacement of adipose tissue over time. These grooves give the face a tired and aged expression. These lines can be softened with filling applications.
With age, the adipose tissue in the cheeks, temples and lower jaw areas both decreases in volume and displaces. Thus, sagging of the face and thinning of the skin occur. To clarify the lower jaw with filling applications, to give volume to the cheeks and temples allows us to give a young expression to the face. Filling applications to the lower eyelid and cheeks allow us to camouflage the disorders in the form of bagging and depression. By shortening the lower eyelid distance, the face can be given a rested and fresh appearance.
There may be changes in the jaw area with age, and in some people, the jaw is structurally small or backward. With filling applications, the jaw line can be strengthened and made prominent.
Sagging eyelids and low eyebrows make the person look older and tired. It may be possible to lift the eyebrows upwards with fillings, to give the gaze a younger look.
