One of the issues that women are concerned about aesthetics is the genital area. . These deformities in the genital area not only lead to a bad aesthetic appearance; It also causes problems such as insecurity, inadequacy in sexuality, pain during sexual intercourse, frequent infections, dissatisfaction or embarrassment in women. Although a significant part of women are aware of these, they cannot express their complaints, they look for solutions alone because they cannot express themselves comfortably and they experience serious stress.

The procedures applied in genital aesthetics are easy and satisfactory. The return of patients to their work and social life in a short time after the procedure has also made it untaboo to talk about this issue.

Aesthetic procedures to be performed on the genital area can be evaluated in several sections.

Vagina Outer Lip Aesthetics

The outermost tissues surrounding the vagina in the genital area, covered with hairs, filled with a spongy fat tissue inside, are called outer lips, or labia majora. Although the structure of the outer lips varies from person to person, they usually remain puffy and closed to cover the inner lips (labia minors). In some women, the outer lips may have a fainter or saggy appearance. This causes the genital area to look older and the small lips to appear more saggy and larger than normal.

The loss of fullness of large lips can be caused by structural reasons. Sagging and loosening of large lips can be seen due to reasons such as advancing age, menopause, rapid weight loss, poor collagen tissue, hormonal diseases, itchy diseases, smoking and frequent masturbation. In order to correct this situation, the person’s own fat tissue can be used as the filling material in the large lip filling operation, as well as a synthetic material called hyaluronic acid, which is FDA approved for filling procedures on the human body. If the patient’s own adipose tissue is to be used, first of all, the fat tissue taken by liposuction method from any part of the body such as the thigh or abdomen is injected into the area where the patient will be filled by passing through a special process. This procedure should be performed in operating room conditions in a hospital environment. Filling with hyaluronic acid can be performed in a shorter time in the office environment. The patient can continue his daily normal life immediately after the procedure. This process does not cause any harm to the genital organs. If applied in virgin girls, it does not cause any damage to the hymen, does not adversely affect orgasm, and does not have a negative effect on conception and the pregnancy that will occur.

If there is no volumetric decrease but there is a skin looseness situation, surgical removal of excess skin tissue in the treatment provides an effective result.

Vagina Inner Lip Aesthetics

The inner lips of the vagina, which are one of the external genital organs that progress with the age of puberty, can sometimes grow above the size they should be in young girlhood and hang down between the outer lips of the vagina. The same image can be seen in the external genital structures that have lost their volume and elasticity with aging and menopause. This situation causes image distortion.

For example, a swimsuit can be uncomfortable when wearing a bikini by standing in the form of a fluffy front or it may close the entrance during sexual intercourse, causing strain or painful intercourse. In this case, if the excess in the inner lips is a real excess of tissue, removing these excess structures from the body is the right treatment option. However, in elderly patients, the sagging of the inner lips may appear to be sagging and/or excessive due to the decrease in the volume of the outer lips. In this case, the outer lips should be intervened first, and if the inner lips still sag and look large after this intervention, these structures should be intervened at the same time.

Pubic Zone Aesthetics (Genital Hairy Region)

Generally, in people over normal weight (male and female), a swollen and somewhat sagging appearance occurs due to excess soft tissue in the hairy area on the genital organ.

If there is excess volume in this area, the correct treatment approach is liposuction (classical or VASER) method. If sagging and excess skin are present in this area, surgical tissue removal should be applied to suspend the excess skin and soft tissue upwards, that is, to tighten this area.

Vaginoplasty (Vagina aesthetics – vagina tightening procedures)

Vaginoplasty, popularly known as vagina aesthetics, can be performed surgically or with laser.  Enlargements over time are common either structurally or due to vaginal births. Such deformities can cause the pleasure received in sexual intercourse to decrease or disappear by both men and women.

With surgical intervention, the excess tissue loosened is removed and narrowing and rejuvenation of the surrounding tissues are provided. With the laser method, vagina narrowing can be performed in a very short and easy way without requiring anesthesia in the office environment.

Repair of postpartum tear marks

During vaginal delivery, episiotomy can be performed in cases where it is necessary for the baby’s head to come out comfortably, that is, some incisions can be made. When these incisions are not repaired well, when a bad suture technique is used, or when they cannot be done at all and the vagina is torn in a shapeless and uncontrolled way without being prepared, ugly images may remain in the genital area. Scar tissues can be removed in a simple way, and the tissues are resutured by comparing them in a proper line. Internal tissue loosening or sagging that occurs during this process can also be corrected.
