Collagen vaccine, or magic filling with its popular name, is an application that restructures the skin with the aim of restoring the elasticity and brightness of the skin and opening wrinkles.
Collagen is the most commonly found protein in the human body. The P of the cartilage, the h of the cornea, the r of the skin contain collagen. Apart from this, it is also found in muscles, bones, blood vessels, digestive system and tendons. Collagen provides structural strength by shaping tissues and organs. Collagen is the basic building block that gives our skin strength and flexibility.
Our body’s collagen production naturally slows down as we age from the ages of 25-30, and as much as 1.5% of collagen is lost each year. For this reason, wrinkles, sagging and joint pain occur on our skin during the aging period. The collagen vaccine stimulates the production of fibroblasts, which make up type III collagen, a cornerstone of cosmetic medicine and anti-aging treatments. When applied to subcutaneous tissue (dermal tissue), fibroblasts are stimulated and new collagen production is triggered. Stimulation of fibroblasts also increases the production of hyaluronic acid.
It can be used at any age for prevention purposes after the age of 25 to stop the current aging process, or to compensate for the signs of aging and loss of elasticity that have occurred. It can be used for purposes such as renewal of the whole face and body, renewal of the dermis and connective tissue, increasing skin elasticity, reducing skin aging signs and wrinkles, reducing scars and acne scars, correcting the loss of elasticity in the face, neck, décolleté and breasts, tightening the abdomen and hips, tightening the upper arms and legs.
Collagen vaccine is administered in 4 sessions with an interval of 2-4 weeks according to the condition of the skin. Local anesthetic cream is applied to the application area and waited for 30-45 minutes. Then, the skin is disinfected and applied to the skin (dermal layer) with a thin and short mesotherapy needle at intervals of 1-3 cm. After the application, it is spread with a light massage. The process is terminated by applying antibacterial cream and sunscreen. It is natural to see slight redness and swelling at the application site. After the procedure, daily life can be returned. Redness, burning, swelling, itching and tenderness may occur at the injection sites. None of these symptoms require medical intervention, they disappear on their own.
